In Jeumont, a 300-metre stretch is closed to traffic until 2027. A clearly signposted diversion is in place. Diversion: after the bridge, on Rue Jean Jaurès, take the second exit at the roundabout onto Rue de Lessines. Then turn right onto Rue de Lockweiller, after the railway line turn right again onto Chemin Latéral, then left to rejoin the Scandibérique route
This cross-border stage has a continuous exclusive right-of-way, except on the few bridges. The route zigzags from one bank to the other. After the boulevard circulaire in Maubeuge, it crosses back over to the left side of the Sambre on a footbridge to enter the town.
